How will I know if RC Trackpad / App Conductor will work on my Network before I buy?
You can test your network using the following guide:
Remote Conductor Network Test
I keep getting asked to enter the random password each time I connect to my Mac
This is a rare keychain issue issue that we are still trying to track down. The solution is the quit Conductor Server and re-start it. On Lion you may also be required to remove the pairing with the device by brining up the Conductor Server preferences, security tab, click on the device name and click ‘remove’. You will have to pair your device one more time, but then the problem should go away.
We would appreciate a quick email letting us know you had this problem so we can determine how wide spread it is.
How do I use the Direct Connection Feature?
You can display the direct connection box by first opening the Server Browser then tap the small arrow in the upper left hand corner. In the direction connection box type in the hostname or IP address of the Mac. Also make sure the port number matches the value set in Conductor Server. You can find the hostname, IP addresses and port in the Network Tab of the Conductor Server preferences dialog. Once a direct value is entered it will show up as blue in the Server Browser. Tap on the entry as normal to connect.

After starting RC Trackpad, when I try to bring up the Launcher it just returns to Track mode
This is an indication that the iPad / iPhone does not have enough free memory. Launcher memory use was improved with Remote Conductor 1.1.4. If you see this behavior make sure you have upgraded to the latest version of the app AND the server, then perform the ‘Forget All Servers’ action from the settings menu to clear the icon cache. Re-connect and pair to the server. If this behavior still persists try soft-resetting the iPad / iPhone.
After adding a custom directory it doesn’t show up properly in the Launcher
Currently you must quit and restart Conductor Server, then reconnect RC Trackpad for these changes to take effect.
The message “... not supported on this type of Mac” appears when trying to run Conductor Server
Mac Conductor Server 1.0 does not run on 32 bit Macs, please update to the latest version.

I updated the OS on my iPad and now my 4 and 5 finger gestures won’t work with RC Trackpad
If you are running iOS 4.3 and you have enabled your iPad for development use, the iPad’s new ‘Multitasking Gestures’ are enabled by default. These multitasking gestures override 4 and 5 finger gesture support in applications. To restore this functionality you need to go to the iPad’s Settings... General... and turn off ‘Multitasking Gestures’.
Can I use Bluetooth to connect to my Mac?
As of iOS 4.3 Bluetooth connectivity is supported on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard only. Bluetooth is NOT currently supported with Lion. (Lion IS fully supported over Wi-Fi). Follow the instructions outlined in the Bluetooth Connectivity guide:

Lion 3 finger gestures are not working

4 finger pinch is not bringing up the LaunchPad in Lion
